i bought a copy of cmr2 (just to test out my new momo)
installed it.... slideshow........
tried to install the lastest patch from codies......
failed it said it could not find the installation.....(even when the exe was
run from within the dir)
so i found the cmr2_europe patch... a little bit older......
and it patched the game ok
but now it wont start, saying invalid cd inserted

any ideas how to sort this one guys......

ps the cmr2 is the cheap 12.99 version

If it's a budget version it's either already patched or the patch is on
the CD somewhere.

I've got an identical spec (except for a 1 gig P3 instead of athlon) and
it works fine for me.

I had a similar problem tried all kinds of stuff and it never did run.  I was
runnig win2k...they finally gave me my money back because the seller and
codemasters couldn't make it work...funny the demo works just
fine................so, good luck....
