NASCAR 2: A suggestion for registered NASCAR 1 owners

Several weeks ago a number of people mentioned that they received
special mailings that allowed them to call or mail in with a special
order code to purchase NASCAR 2 for $29.99 plus S/H.  Apparently there
targetting all registered owners of the original NASCAR, but are are a
little late getting all the mailings out (mine just arrived early this
week).  So I propose to all registered owners of NASCAR to either wait
for the previously-mentioned mailing or buy it at a software retailer
for $40 or less (everyone's talking about a $29.99 price after rebate
at Best Buys).  The price Sierra Direct is offering is a joke.  ANYONE
could do better.

I got the mailing. But I never bought or registered NASCAR. It was
probably for my INDYCAR registration. I somehow get Sierra's quarterly
magazine so they have my name somehow :-)

True I got a rein-check from BestBuy. $29 is a good deal especially for all
the enhancements. Plus SVGA framerate was sillky smooth on my P5-133 during
an Atlanta race with 10 cars drawn. The "spotter" feature really helps.
If only they could do that with IndyCar2.
