I believe this is the first ICR2 set created exclusively around Indy...no
sense
in letting the track go to waste this May! ;)

This set depicts the full 33-car field of the 79th and last real Indy 500,
plus some others which narrowly missed the cut.  Speedway wing designs and
other graphic enhancements have been implemented.  

Most importantly, Papyrus has finally patched the annoying seam problem, so
the cars finally look the way they're supposed to!  

...Well, not entirely.  The patch introduced a new bug, in which several
border pixels on the engine covers are linked to border pixels on the wings
and nose, so they cannot be properly painted (5 pairs in all).  However,
this is visible only within Paintkit; these pixels are essentially concealed
within the game.

Where can the rest of this find this patch?  I've checked the Pits,
Papyrus' old ftp site and Sierra.

I got the patch from the pits US mirror site.

Are you sure about this?  The only one I see listed there is still the
original patch for Paintkit V.1.01, which covers the top of the engine
cover only, not the new V.1.02 patch.
