A friend tells me of a new game that allows you to manage a team and its cars/drivers and whatnot as opposed to  driving.  Does

F1GPManager.  I've heard conflicting reports about it.  Some say it sucks
rocks and others say it's great.  I guess that depends on how much you're into
the non-racing aspect of racing...

It might well be the Microprose game.

This has been slagged off so much that I've not given it a look.

I did, however, get hold of a copy of Grand Prix Wizard - another
similar idea. Not sure it's a "GREAT" game, but nice feel to the few
races I've played so far.....worth a look perhaps.

They must be refering to Grand Prix Manager, by Spectrum Holobyte.
Don't waste your time or your money, in my opinion.

I found the game to be pretty fun. Fans of action games will find it
slow, as it is a strategy game, not a racing sim.
