No ... but I live in the United States. I probably will be going to the race
in Indy in September (for the third year in a row).
This is one of the few races that is on at a reasonable time in my time zone --
8 p.m.!
I am really looking forward to this season. Lots of interesting questions -
can Ferrari keep up their impressive run? Will Ferrari's F1-2001 be
competitive until they break out the new car? Can Schumacher tie Fangio with
five championships? Will Williams/BMW continue their quick return to the top?
Who will win in the Ralf vs. JPM duel? How fast is Raikkonen (now that he has
a ride with McLaren)? Will Sauber be the best of the rest again? What about
Renault (they seem to be coming on strong)? Can Jenson Button revive his
career? Who got the best of the Fisichella vs. Trulli swap? Will the new team,
Toyota, be able to make the grid (107% rule)? How fast are the rookies (Massa,
McNish, Webber, Sato)? Will JV and BAR continue their dismal streak? How will
Frentzen do at Arrows? Will Arrows beat Jaguar (now that they both have works
Cosworth engines)? Who will prevail in the Honda contest (BAR or Jordan)? How
will the new two-way computer communication change things? Which tire will be
strongest (Michelin or Bridgestone)?
If I had F12001 (need a system upgrade first), I would be running a season (or
at least individual races) alongside the real thing. As it stands, I can't
even run F12000 since I upgraded to DirectX 8.1. :-(
Enjoy,
