ICR2 - Tire Squeal ???

It seems that the tires squeal more in ICR2 than in ICR1 or Nascar.
I've found it difficult to get quick lap times without tire squeal
that would be excessive in the other games.

Am I wearing out the tires as much by squealing the tires in ICR2
as compared to Nascar?
