Does anyone know how to change the bungee on this wheel? I get a dot hat
moves wildly when I read the calibration. It only happens after left and
right hand locks, on the return. I checked it with the TMscope utility.
Is it hard? what should I use to replace it? I also might need a new
pot. Is that hard to replace? Or should I just go and buy a new wheel?

Is the Nascar wheel with paddles on the wheel and pedals any good?

Thanks,

Check out Alison Hines excellent site for info on how to change the bungee in
the TM wheels.

It's really quite easy, I'd say I probably change mine every 6 weeks just to
keep it in top form. For bungee material, find a local hardware store that
sells bungee cord in bulk, it costs me about 85 cents a foot. Three feet will
keep you going for a long time. I prefer using a cord thats one size smaller
than the cord used by TM (3/8" I believe).

I checked out the new Nascar Sprint wheel and pedal setup last Friday at
Interact when I picked up GPL. I like the 4 buttons on the steering wheel but
the pedals look pretty cheap to me. I'll stick with my GP1 and CH pedals at
least until the Nascar Supersport hits the streets.
