Just for comparison

N4 at Daytona attempts to simulate the 2000 race speeds.  Remarkably,
it's rather accurate with the AI running 100% (mostly 'factory' AI) the
accuracy is pretty good..

In the latest session I did, Dale Earnhardt took the pole at 190.978 vs.
Dale Jarrett doing a 191.091 last year.  The 41st qualifyier (I didn't
take a time just for the heck of it- but if I take the one session that
I did I would have qualified 14th) did a 187.1xx which would have made
him 41st last year.  Incidently I downloaded a #9 Bill Elliot car and he
qualified at 184.xxx  - would not have made the show.  After yesterday's
results, I'd say that driver profile needs some tweeking...

Fortuately, it tends to mimic the racing action of the Talledega race
package rather than the Daytona package.
