Does anyone have recommended settings for the RS and N4, I downloaded the
lightspeed setup for Vegas and I just spin out, barely turning the wheel.
It just feels twitchy.

The wheel just doesn't feel right.......any help would be greatly
appreciated.

You can try the setup that GTX_Slot put on his website
www.slottweak.com. He normally puts up some pretty good stuff but I
still didn't like it. But I, like you, have had problems with the
twitchy steering. The recommended "fix" you're probably going to get
is to adjust the linearity setting.

IMO, that is complete garbage. A steering wheel is a linear input
device so why make an adjustment that makes it non-linear. For all of
the praise that N4 is getting, they can't get something as simple as
this right. Go figure.

Ok, I'm ready for the flames..........

I have act labs force rs.
 my N4 setting
linearity = 95%
Force and damping at 100%
latency at 50ms
In windows controll panel all 100 but NO centering spring.
to get a good feel from the road you need to adjust your caster in the
setup. a good setting will help you turn and give you alot of feedback. even
bumps.

I have used that same setup with the ForceRS. It took awile but I got it so I
dont spin. What you need to do is use the gasto help turn the car. go back to
the site you got hte setup from and read a little about what they say about the
setup.

No flames here...

I think the steering in N4 is a huge step backwards from N3/2/1...

Some people do nothing wrong.
The problem is, they do nothing.
And THAT is wrong.
