NASCAR 3?

Has anyone from Papyrus actually stated that there
will be a Nascar 3?

Is Papyrus currently working on any further patches
for N2?  I like the game however the caution lap
bug has ruined some nice races for me.  This is the
one thing I wish would be fixed.

Not there there "will" be a N3, but that they are working on one.

I totally agree!  While Adam stated that Papy is not working on fixing
the AI in N2, but they are concetrating on making N3, I think they
should fix some of the major problems, such as the caution lap bugs.
This does totally ruin the race!  As a matter of fact it pisses me off
big time.  Especially after spending close to over an hour into a race
to have it ruined by this bug.  The other big AI bug is the fast cars
"bogging" down due to really slow cars.

As I look at it, Papyrus needs to fix these bugs in their current
products for at least two reasons:

1)  It is good customer relations.  We bought their product and we
should be happy with its performance in order for us to stay loyal to
Papyrus.  As the competition gets heavier in the computer racing market,
they will need all the loyality they can muster.

2)  The problems we are talking about are problems that have haunted
ICR1/ICR2 and N1.  They need to try and fix them in their current
products so they won't be in their future products.  Think back to the
"Hand of God" bug.  If someone (Charlie?) hadn't taken the bull by the
horns and wrestled it to the ground, it would be present in N2.  The
same goes for the "traction" bug which was in both ICR2 and N1.

Papyrus, please consider looking into these more than just an annoyance
bugs in N2.  I am not concerned with "cosmetic" bugs, but these are some
major weaknesses in a otherwise excellent product.

I agree with the above statements also and would like to add that they
should work on fixing the pitting AI in multiplayer mode.  It was
stated in the latest patch that they had implemented a "work around"
for this problem.  As far as I can tell this "work around" doesn't
work.  Every time I try to run a multi player race that is longer than
1 pit stop, some one is parked in the clients' pit, or if the client
should make it to the pit stall first, he gets punted out of there by
an AI car.  This makes running a multi player race of any length
longer than 1 scheduled pit stop virtually impossible.  This is a BIG
BUG that really needs to be squashed IMHO.

Am I the only one experiencing this?  I ask because I haven't seen
many posts about it.  I'm also rather new to this newsgroup, so maybe
it's already been hashed over.  If anyone can offer a sugestion on how
to race in multiplayer so that the client can actually make a pitstop,
I'd like to hear it.
