watching Karting on Eurosport and now I'm somewhat intrigued,
but can't find any reviews. Worse, it was put out by
Data Becker, who released the muchly panned K.O.

It's an arcade game, and a really bad one too.
There's a track editor included, and I thought that it would be nice
to build some of my favorite real life tracks. More fun than racing
itself in this game actually.
But the editor, or better the game engine itself, has so few options
that it wasn't possible to build any of my favorite tracks. The best
track we have here in Holland is in Huizen, and after you cross a
bridge, the track loops and runs under the bridge. Can't do this in Go
Kart.
A shame, a good kart sim, or even a good kart game, would be very
welcome. And yes, Mario kart is a fun game, but I mean something a
little bit more realistic than that.

It's like that....
So weird nobody can make a fun game about karting....

There's a "proper" kart sim coming out next year.
I *think* the URL for info is:

BTW, was Virtual Karts any good at all? I remember playing the demo and
I traded into the full version, but I haven't decided if it's worth opening
(yes, it's still sealed). Is it Win95 (I'm at work and can't see the box)?
Multplayer?

It's OK... a fun arcade-ish diversion for a few minutes. Took my ages to
set up my wheel though. It has LAN support but I never tried it.
