sierra.com multiplayer, you should check your N4 directory to see if any of
the long file names have been renamed to 8.3 format. For example after the
patch "NASCAR Racing 4.EXE" might show up as "NASCAR~1.EXE" or something
similar. If this has happened to you, you'll need to manually rename the
files before being able to connect:
"NASCAR~1.EXE" > "NASCAR Racing 4.EXE"
"RENDSE~1.DLL" > "RENDSERVER.DLL"
"SIERRA~1.DLL" > "SIERRAUPN4RES.DLL"
