ICR2 - Fedex98 Carset

Hi,

Over the weekend, I downloaded a couple of different Fedex98 Carsets and
I've noticed the same results.

With the original carset, I was able to qualify at 100% strength in the
top 10 at most tracks.  With the new carsets I find myself at the back
of the field at most tracks.  My own car doesn't seem to have the speed
to keep up with the field using the same setups that I have been using
successfully all along.  Is this normal?

Thanks...
        ...Ron

Usually, when you downloas a carset, the driver.txt file is modified
to reflect the improvment of the drivers. If you compare the lap times
that the drivvers did in 1996 and the ones they are doing now you'll
see that today's time (in general) are much faster. That's why your
setup that might have been very fast with the 1996 cars isn't up to
speed with the 1998 cars.

If you juste want the new paint schemes but not the speed just restore
your drivers.txt file.
