F1 steering wheels

Hi all,
I just got the F1 racing simulation and I am digging it.  However, you all
probably know it is real twitchy (with the keyboard as controller) in the
corners.  I am tired of using "steering help" option and want to buy a good
wheel.  My question is what would be a good wheel with or without foot
pedals?  And DO steering wheels get rid of the twitch?
Thanks,
CAP

The only way to get serious in racing simulators is to get a steering
device. Same thing with Air sims (Joystick).  There is just no fun with a
keyboard after trying a wheel.

And for the choice of it. It depends on the price.  If you are on a tight
budget, the Gp1 could be a good choice under 100$.  After check out a TSW2
around 200$.  If you don't have problems with the budget, check out the TSW
or the ECCI.

I'm VERY happy with my ECCI, $600.

   I moved up from a Thrustmaster T1.

I just bought a Thrustmaster Nascar Pro Racing Wheel last week after I
stomped the living SHIT out of my waste-o-plastic and wires Per4mer Turbo
Wheel. Told the wife it was broke and I had no other alternative but to get
a new one. After reading and researching Racing Wheels I settled on the
Thrustmaster Nascar Pro and now I can't get the hell off this computer. If
there is a better wheel out there without force feedback I would definately
be surprised.

The Force RS is due to hit the market any day now.  It looks to be a very
solidly built wheel.  It has I-Force 2.0 force feedback, and features a
Formula 1-style shifter.  It also has a unique cartridge feature, so you use
it on your PSX, N64 or SS, with a $20 cartridge.  No force feedback with
consoles, unfortunately.
F1RS uses I-Force 2.0, doesn't it?
