When I switched on my pc today AVG found a new Trojan in the R-Factor add on
featuring VW Lupos....
I've since heard from 6 other people that have found the same thing...
Great. Add-On's with Spyware. Just what we need.

What program is AVG? Who makes it? I haven't had any problems, and AV
programs have been known to make bogus claims about viruses being present.

Ive used it for quite some time and as far as I tell it works better than
most commercial products [especially symantec which actually opens holes].

I think most here know my policy on AV program, so I won't repeat it here.
I doubt seriously that Lupo contains a virus. I haven't heard anything over
at RSC. It's probably a false alarm, something virus programs are quite
found of triggering.

I use AVG too but I have had it find a false positive before. But then so
have other AV progs I have tried. If I was to pay for one though I like
F-Secure.
