Nick Grovier: Your numbers are too hard to see, and you need to put one on the BACK of your car. At least outline the existing numbers in yellow or white, as well as including a number on the back of your car. Dave Henrie: Is your car the target car? If so, you have to change your name in the car file. It says "Jimmy Spencer". LTB Racer (Larry): You need to put your real name as driver name. Tom Pabst: If you're not gonna run with us, let me know so I can free up your car number. Craig Johnson (#83): I'm not gonna do a pic of your car until it's finalized (make sure you check out the racesimcentral board - I replied to your message there). I still don't have car files (or the driver names are wrong in their car files) for the following individuals, and until I get them, I can't update the roster with a picture of their car. If you are one of these people, fix it, or you will be removed from the roster: #12 Phil Baker #29 Jason Moyer #37 Ed Crawford #47 Steve Kurzinsky #77 Tom Pabst #133 Rik Zepplin Last thing (AND PROBABLY THE MOST IMPORTANT THING) - everybody make sure their RAS sierra ID is correct on the roster page. If Eldred creates an invite list (and I've been pushing him to do this), he will be using the ID's on the roster page to build his invite list, and if you don't use the right one, you won't be able to join the RAS races. Special note to Ginger (#7 car) - you'll have to pick an ID and stick with it. -- ========================================================= DeMONS/1 for Nascar Racing 3 & Nascar Legends http://www.paddedwall.org/demons DeMONS/2 for Nascar Racing 4 and 2002 Season (in development) http://www.paddedwall.org/demons2 RASCAR Roster http://www.paddedwall.org/rascar Redneck Techno-Biker & "programming deity" http://www.paddedwall.org/john Barbarian Diecast Collector (460+ cars and counting) http://www.paddedwall.org/diecast If you want to send me email, go to the first URL shown above & click "Send Me Mail" in the contents frame. =========================================================
Thought this was a jus at pickup race that anyone could join in? Do you need to sign up and have official car now? "John Simmons" <[email hidden]> wrote in message news:[email hidden]...

Anyone can join, but we expect everyone that wants to race to go to the roster page and pick a car number that's not already in use, and to provide a suitable car file for use in our races. It's not a league, and we don't track points, but there simply MUST be some order, or else there's no freakin point in going to the effort that we do to provide an enjoyable racing experience for everyone. If you aren't into that, you certainly have the option of not racing with us.

"John Simmons" wrote... > > <snip> John, as I mentioned before I somehow lost the Sierra ID that's on the roster page in applying the RASCAR carset and creating a seperate "AI" version of myself in order to produce a carfile(goofed somewhere, obviously, but can't remember what I did). I've tried every permutation of capitalisation I could think of, but Sierra won't let me in again using that nick, nor send me my password (must have mistyped that *and* my e-mail address when I originally created the ID). I now use "J_Verschueren" as my Sierra ID. I'm #17 in the RASCAR races BTW. My car pic on page now also outdated, but that's not a big issue AFAIC. Jan. =---

If that's the ID you and Eldred are using then that's fine, but I've browsed directly to the 10_19.html roster page, refreshed it a dozen times and it still shows: "17 Jan Verschueren (JayVee) - Belgium" (--> cut and pasted from the page I'm referring to) over here. If it's ok at your end that's nice and dandy, albeit not very re-assuring. Jan. =---

If I am reading this right, my Sierra ID is not correct. It should be LTB-Racer. Right now it says Larry(). Not sure why... If I'm reading it in the right place. I clicked on the section for #98, my car is there, but it says Larry() instead of LTB-Racer. -Larry "John Simmons" <[email hidden]> wrote in message news:[email hidden]...
