I've been attempting to modify CMR2 and failing terribly. Can someone give
m some tips.
First of all I'd like to alter the drivers names so they're up to date and
real. I found Driver Edit 1.0 and it corrupts all the driver names to a
load of chars.
Then I found CMR2 Edit v2.4 and it does some real weird things. After
opening the program and changing the driver names I load the game. When I
start a stage (either a time trial, championship, single stage or challenge
the car bounces round the stage (and I mean bounce - 100 metre high
bounces!!) never coming to rest. Not sure if it changed the names
successfully as the bouncing was a little distracting.
Anyone got any tips for something that works. I want to update the game in
the following ways:
1) Change the driver names to 2002 spec.
2) Change the bodies and paint jobs to 2002 cars - get rid of the Seat and
use a Skoda or something. New paint jobs for the cars and new shells for
the Lancer WRC and the Impreza.
