F1 2001 and Voodoo3

Hi I'm trying to run F1 2001 but it tells me that I need DirectX 8 video drivers. But they are installed, and dxdiag tells me things are ok. I have a Voodoo 3000 with some latest patch. I run XP pro, Athlon 1600+, 256 DDR DIMM, etc . Thanks zen
