F12001 & GTMOD (FPS)

P3/700, Gforce2 / 128MB Is it normal, that GTMOD is playing so much slower than the original game? I can race F1 cars with good FPS but GT-mod is soooooo slow. When I leave the pits at GP race, fps is less than 10 and when doing practice laps, every time I go through main straight (were the pit is) FPS drops to 10 or so. I have edited player.plr to set MaxVehiclesVisible smaler. I have also tryed to set resolution and all the details to minium but it still seems very slow. Any tips to make it work faster so I could race with other cars also? Other than this, the mod is GREAT!

<snip> I had the same problem and found that after running the gtconfig program, the FSAA value in GTConf.ini was =2 versus 0 in my F1 config.ini Changing this to 0 made my gf2 handle things much better (got to turn all the detail back on again ;) iksteh
