Okay...........how annoying. Certain games play fine for a few minutes then
freeze when using DX9, but run fine on Dx8 or DX7. COD2 mostly.........great
game, but after maybe 30secs, FREEZE !! I can play it on DX7, but I should
be able to use DX9 as far as I can figure. I can run most other games on DX9
either perfectly fine or with a small amount of choppiness in areas. Any
ideas here ??
My system;
AMD64 3500+
Gigabyte NFS3 mobo
OCZ 1024 ram running in dual channel
ATI 9800pro
XP sp2
1280x960x85khz

Yes I do have all the latest drivers and such. Although oddly enough, I got
a freeze last night while using DX7. Another night I can go for a couple
hours easily with no trouble on DX7.........hmmmmmmmm
