eBay red Momo sale turns into RASCAR reunion

Bamadano advertised an unopened red Logitech Momo wheel on eBay, and a poster's remark about scam listings prompted him to point to his trustworthy history. Many former RASCAR league racers vouched for him and exchanged greetings. Later it was explained that the red Momo was the older premium version with a ball-bearing shaft and leather rim.

I wonder why a seller has troubles taking 5 pictures of a Logitech box, but none of the wheel/pedals...?... OK, I live in Denmark, so there is a long way to Alabama... It can be new because it was never opened Dave :) And I didn't open the box because some place more value on an un-opened box Thore. I haven't been around here in a while but there used to be quite a few people who would vouch for me including Ed Solheim in Denmark who I bought Craftsman tools for....where I paid for the tools up front and Ed reimbursed me. Oh well......

Oh well...... Hi there... It was not my meaning to make you a crook...:) The situation I described is a one-to-remember, so I just got the thought.... I'm sorry, if anybody thought bad about it... Hope to close the discussion now, and sincerely I hope you get a good price for that fantastic wheel...:) (BTW: Norway is one of five scandinavian countries, and so is Denmark, with kings, queens and all..:) ) -- Venlig hilsen / Best regards Thore Sorensen - DK2700 Brnshj / DK2620 Albertslund (Erstat evt. He didnt call you a crook, for christ's sake, he parralled a thought, easily concluded in today's Ebay annonymous crook society... He mentioned something I heard on the radio too or something, where a guy got taken by an ebay auction of a picture of an xbox, or was it the typical empty box shipped to the 300 bidder-winner? so he commented on the fact that someone took several shots of the box. Hell I thought the same thing, when I clicked on the link, but Im mor eoptomistic (merely means more likely to eventually get scammed in todays society) and thus, just didnt post on here or anywhere about it. Secondly becuase I did think one possible reason was an unopen box, but then again if I was bidding I might ask fro proof there was a wheel in there? I dunno. The 'red' MOMO was a premium wheel made before the current 'black' offering. Ball bearing shaft, leather wrapped wheel, etc. (But still shitty pedals!) MRSisson -- LOAD "GPL",8 SEARCHING FOR GPL LOADING READY. RUN
