"GPL Environment Manager (GEM Plus) is designed to provide a simple way of
adjusting the ini file settings for Papyrus' Grand Prix Legends racing
simulator.
GEM Plus allows easy amendment of many GPL settings including Standard GPL
graphics, D3D Rasteriser settings, 3DFx (including George Smiley's Glide
Patch if used), Force Feedback, Sound and AI.
Version 1.4 includes a built in Track Manager. This enables you to have more
than 64 tracks installed on your machine which can be switched in and out as
you wish. You can also save season files for later retrieval.
A key feature of GEM Plus is the ability to program buttons to call other
GPL utilities such as Replay Analyser, GPL season or the upcoming GPL AI
Manager.
In addition GEM Plus incorporates the facility to change the engine used in
each chassis. This allows you to drive the 'extended classes'. There are
several leagues where people race the 'FD' and 'FG' cars which are the F1
chassis with the F2 and F3 engines respectively.
If you do not want the engine swapping facility then GEM Minus gives exactly
the same functionality as GEM Plus but with the engine swapping removed."

I use a utility called Track Manager which you can get from:
www.simracing.dk/gpl/resourcer/tools/editor/GPLtracks.zip
