Oh Knowlegable Ones:
It may be time for fresh reinstall of GP2. (To allow me to continue
happily racing SOMETHING until Upgrade Day.)
The game is beginning to insert "shadow" cars. That is, cars without
graphics. Started it after I inadvertantly loaded a saved season that
was using the old default cars. (I had been using a set of cars loaded
through GP2 Edit from way back when.) Unfortunately, when I did some
ruthless house cleaning on my HDD some time ago, I thought I'd dump the
no longer used GP Edit (no longer used 'cause I thought I was done
racing GP2!) to clear up some HDD space. I left GP2 on the HDD at that
time on account of not finding an Uninstall command. (But all the other
sims went bye-bye via their Uninstall command.)
Anyway, I still can't find an "Uninstall" command on the GP2 CD or in
the GP2 folder. Do I remove it the old fashioned way? That is, hit the
big Delete key on the folder? Or, can I simply reinstall GP2 Edit,
reload some decent cars, and that would take care of it?
Thanks for any insight.
