I'm just starting this thread, hoping that people here can add to
the list of good forums or sites for various racing games.
Here is my list, starting with some older games:
Need For Speed 4 - High Stakes
http://www.needforbetterspeed.net/index.php
In the forum section, you'll find a link to the High Stakes
Expansion Pack, which includes new cars and track, a manager
to deal with the cars and tracks, and an online chat and
TCP/IP race manager (IPLounge) which uses the car/track
manager to automatically select a set of cars and tracks
to use when joining a TCP/IP server for a series of races.
Also Mercedes Benz World Racing, Toca Race Driver 2,
Need for Speed 6 - Hot Pursuit 2, and other games.
Need For Speed 5 - Porsche Unleashed
http://www.racerplanet.com/forum/
There's a similar chat and TCP/IP race manager (the same
IPLounge) for NFS5. Several other games there as well.
