Circuit, a VHS tape was in the discount bin at my Half-Price books today (I
paid $1 for it).
The back of the case says:
Knightline Productions presents Circuit with
Danny Sullivan
Bobby Rahal
Teo Fabi
Geoff Brabham
Al Holbert
Paul Newman
Garvin Brown (Danny's car owner)
Carl Haas
Cound Rudolf Van Der Staten (Geoff's car owner)
Starmaker Entertainment Inc, Printed and manufactured the tape in 1990. The
last four races of the series are shown:
Mosport (briefly)
Riverside
Laguna Seca
Caesar's Palace
This link lists Can Am Seasons 1966-1974 and 1977-1986

Clicking on the 1981 season shows results that correspond exactly with
Circuit.
The video is 91 minutes long.
Racing action is good, and the announcer is well-heard. The interviews and
close-ups during the racing action are unusally good. The interviews are
done by a flirty red-headed gal and Stirling Moss. A 3-4 minute "show the
babes" session is included but the rest is good racing action - lots of
shots of Paul Newman, including his getting to drive a protype around Laguna
Seca.
I'd recommend this video if you can find it - it was fun to see how closely
Riverside and Laguna Seca matched the tracks I'm used to running in NR2003
and GTP.
