OK, just picked up N4, and I'm rather impressed so far. Then again, I've only run it for 10min ;)... My biggest problem is that once again Papyrus leaves us on our own when it comes to FF settings. Why the f... can't Papyrus bother to give a proper explanantion of the FF settings! GPL settings are still a bit of a black art. I've checked GTX_Slotcars site, and as great and helpful as he is, I think he's completely off the mark on Papyrus FF in GPL and N4. I can't remember where, but I found a great explanation of the GPL FF, and how to systematically set it up (and the anomalies between driving forces and effect forces that explains the conclusions of GTX). In N4 I started with GTX's settings - and little to no caster steer was in evidence - clearly something was not right. Anyone have a good set of settings for the Act Labs and N4? I'm off to check out Highgear forurms and do some testing. I'll post what I find. Kendt
In game: linearity at 95% Force at 100% Damper at 100% latency at 50ms windows Force ,damping ,and spring effects 100% NO centering spring map xand y forces checked. Form ther you can adjust the caster in the setups to get handling and vary the amount and kind of forces you fell when driving. "Kendt Eklund" <[email hidden]> wrote in message news:[email hidden]...
