Hi,
I've recently purchased the Microsoft FF USB wheel which works
great. However, I've found that I am now forced to use manual
transmission in my Need for Speed games (3&4). Although eventually I
want to move to a standard transmission, for now I'd still like to have
automatic gear changes.
If the game is set to use automatic gear changes, when the race
starts, my car just simply stays stuck in neutral on the starting line.
This used to work fine before I got my wheel. I've also tried the
Logitech Wingman FF wheel and get the same effect.
Does anybody with a wheel use automatic shifting in NFS? Is there a
patch to fix this somewhere?

i had the same problem, but mine wouldnt get out of 1st gear no matter if i
was using auto or manual. i have the TM nascar pro digital 2 wheel
