Sometime last week, I upgraded to DirectX8, the new LWFF drivers and the latest voodoo3 (Win2K) drivers. I know I shouldn't have installed all the new drivers without testing each in turn...but I did. On top of that, I didn't test GPL until today. The bad news: my frame rate has become very inconsistent. Before all the new drivers, I was getting a solid 36fps (C533A OC'd to 800) when running at 1024x768. Now, the fps jump all over the place. It can hit 36, then 24, then 5 (yes, five), then back to 26, then 14... the numbers just jump all over the place. It's undrivable ;-( Anyone run into anything similar? Any ideas?
