Hello NG Readers - I just acquired a copy of the demo for Test Drive Le Mans - I know, I know, it's old news by now... In attempting to set up my controller, it looks as though the keyboard is the only way to drive it? When I go to the controller area, I can highlight "keyboard", hit the RH arrow key ("keyboard" shows a RH arrow on it when highlighted in the demo I'm looking at), but when it goes to next screen, it automatically scrolls down to the "back" selection, even though it shows my wheel at the top of the list. The same for anyone else? If the keyboard, as the default controller, is the only controller the sim will recognize or allow, that is beyond me why it would be released that way... Is Test Drive LeMans or its demo any good? Maybe not being able to set up my wheel/pedals in the demo was a blessing in disguise... :-) Regards, KWS

Well, at least you got THAT far. When I tried it, I couldn't get the <expletive> to get past the title screen. It would lock up... There is something strange about this game. When I bought my copy, I read the requirements which give the impression that this a rather modern game with high processor and graphics requirements. I had the same experience with the wheel, checked their web site. The instruction was simply to check the Windows installation of the wheel which was fine ( I also have three other racing games working fine with the wheel). I tried to export a profile with my Logitech Wingman Profiler but nothing happened. I drove the game a little bit with keyboard and the graphics looked like the early racing games of the 80's. I gave up on it, but I would also be interested if anybody has got this game working. I won't buy another "Test Drive" product after this one.
