Sounds like a decent game..is it?? force feedback good ??
Tried it, loved it, bought it, still playing it after a year. (Especially when you are racing in those 15-20 minutes stages). Go to the following sites and visit their forums. It'a an amazing game. Set yourself up on a night stage (20 miles plus) turn the light out, the speakers up, and it's so real. Some of the lighting effects are amazing as well Doug "don hodgdon" <[email hidden]> wrote in message news:92jsgr$ivk$[email hidden]...

Worth getting! -- Kevin Anderson [email hidden] "Dave So" <[email hidden]> wrote in message news:Q7a36.43117$[email hidden]... > Sounds like a decent game..is it?? > force feedback good ?? > >
The game is great...but you need the latest patch to tweak the physics and even then, that is the poorest part of the game (maybe a 6 out of 10). The graphics and stages are phenomenal. If this had better physics, it would be the GPL of rally sims. Marc. Dave, I like it. Great graphics. Questionable physics, but tuneable (with the patch). Quite decent FF: you can definitely tell when you hit the dreaded black ice. The best thing about it: it doesn't wreck yer ability to drive GPL. Many sims, seemingly acceptable in their own writty, mess up your embouchure--a few hours with SCGT, for example, and it takes me 3 days to get my chops back in GPL. M1RC actually *improved* my Solitude lap times (once I started treating it like just another rally stage). The worst thing about it? It cheats. The times it posts for yer competitors are bogus. You can be the fastest thing on 4 wheels (or 2, if you tip a lot) and still lose by humungous margins. Or suck pond scum and still bring home the bacon (to miscegenate a mataphor). --Steve Smith (the biggest GPL fan of all) Dave So <[email hidden]> wrote in message news:Q7a36.43117$[email hidden]... > Sounds like a decent game..is it?? > force feedback good ?? > >
Rally championship is really good. It's the graphics which impress most, as the scenery is very lucious as it flashes past. Its has the most realistic looking scenery in any driving game so far. The tracks are really very good and some of them take 25 minutes! to complete and you thought the nurburgring was long! The force feedback is very good although not quite as good as GPL or Viper Racing it's the best in a rally game and is probably slightly better than in NFS Porsche. The only downer is the way the cars moves about. You can adjust the phics to make the car handle how you want but it's the way it moves aroungd that just doesn't feel right. The problem is that the suspension doesn't move up and down so the car feels very flat anlicke Colin McRae or GPL or NFS Porsche. Otherwise it's worth getting for the nice graphics and long long stages. The most important thing though is that it is veru good fun. -- Some Call Me Tim
