Good online racing sims ?

Apart from GPL - is there any other good online racing sims out there ? I just got ADSL so I am keen on getting into racing simulators (not arcade) online. best regards & happy holidays Lars

I can't think of any product that has as many daily racers as Nascar 3. However, it is not up to GPL's level of physics yet so you may be disappointed. Both Nascar Heat and Nascar 4 demo have very superior driving models. But heat lacks some of the strategy of oval racing due to VERY poorly implemented yellow flag problems. And of course N4 is only a one car demo, yet it does have two tracks for online play. If you are a road racer, then your choices are VERY limited. Not gp3, not f1cs2k, not the first two F1rs' not CART racing, none have very good online capabilities. dave henrie "Lars W. Hi Dave, yeah ... thats what I gathered. I would just LOVE to race SCGT online. I picked up somewhere that it is only supports tcp/ip over a LAN. Can anyone confirm / deny ? Hi Lars, Technically, you can race using TCP/IP over the internet but you may experience hangs during the pre-race syncing process. When you have other Cable/xDSL drivers it is quite enjoyable. Driving in the rain at Sardian Park with another human is great fun -- when it works :) I used to hold a "fun run" for it, but have since changed to Viper Racing which is great online. Jason. In my experience, Dirt Track Racing and the Nascar 4 demo (the latter with the Internet Race Finder app) work nicely online. Rehan
