I just loaded NFS 5 Porsche Unleased on a freshly built 800 mhz machine,
diamond stealth s540III video card, direct x 8. The transitions betwwen menus
is messed up. The games themselve hang at the "loading" screen for almost 4
minutes sometimes. The system is brand new with a fresh win 98 isntall on it.
Please off any suggestions.
Thanks

While we're at it...
Anyone been successful in getting NFS 5- Porsche Unleashed to run on a
Stealth II (Rendition V2100)?
It detects my card properly in the 3D-Setup, menus are okay -- but when I
get to the actual race screen, everything is tinged in PINK!! Can't see the
road for all the pink!
Solution??
Thanks,
Dan

I had this same problem with my Hercules Thriller 3D (V2200). I
ended up switching from the Hercules drivers to the Rendition
reference drivers for the 2200 to fix the problem. That might work
for the 2100, too. Let me know if you can't find the drivers.
BTW, I think it's time we get new video cards. :) Still can't
decide between Voodoo5 or GeForce or Radeon myself.
