Anyone know why IRF for no apparent reason decides "NOT" to enter the IP of
the race you want to join in N4?
It worked just fine for a few days and now the IP won't change after I try
to join a race. To join I have to enter it manually before continuing or it
times out on the incorrect IP :(
I'm not the only one, somebody else groaned about it in the chat area of
IRF.
I can't remember four sets of numbers and writing down the IP's on a
notepad for every race is a royal pain in the butt!

Same thing here. I hope it's something I did!

when joining a new race... I have a workaround that seems to be 100%
It's easier than manually entering an IP each time, but still a pain in the
butt. The author of IRF has managed to cloak himself pretty well, no email
address that I can find.. to bad, he really should be open to some feedback
on his program!
Anyway, if when you finish a race online and delete the IP before leaving
N4, the next time you join it will input the new IP address. Now if Mr.
Deere could get his program to do that consistantly itself,it would be
fantastic! :)

Yeah, some of us need to talke to him about getting IRF to work with our
LinkSYS Routers without having to DMZ the whole computer. I haven't figured
out any way to wrote or contact him, though :(
In a way, this makes me nervous...
