Me and a friend are trying to connect to one another using modem. He's hosting, I'm joining. I put in his number, it dials, we both get the connection sound and everything goes fine. All of the sudden, however, when it says that its synchronizing the connection it says that the Channel has been closed and the the modem device shuts down for some reason. We've tried everything that we can think of, we're connecting at the same speed and have tried everything. Any ideas. Thanks in advance to any who can help.

im sure youve already tried it...make sure u both have the same patch and i think the same connection speed...try lowering the conn speed for more stability dom "B24S" <[email hidden]> wrote in message news:[email hidden]... > Me and a friend are trying to connect to one another using modem. Much simpler to just set up your own passworded race on VROC isn't it? Kev
You need to set the same speed - but a lower one eg 28,000 worked for me when I had same problem Regards John Kevin Clark <[email hidden]> wrote in message news:[email hidden]... > B24S wrote: > > > > Me and a friend are trying to connect to one another using modem.
