Mine fired right up. No problems at all with LWFF. There is a huge update for the LWFF that is not on the CD. Did you try the Logitec website for the newest info? I bought my wheel last summer and when checking for updates downloaded a big file which made everything hook right up. Good luck! I'm having horrendous issues with the F1CS demo and my LWFF/CH pedals combo. It seems that the usual controller "jitter" through my SB Live! gameport is read as input whenever I try to calibrate/change *anything*, leading to almost random assignment of most functions to to the Controller 2 X and Y axes (I'm using JoyRegs). Once I get everything setup the way I want it (LOTS of work and frustration), and in spite of what buttons on the controller I've set for each function, the game automatically selects fifth gear (in the Benetton). The only way to get it out of fifth is to hold in one of the paddles (this gives me third gear), or another of the wheel buttons (which gives me first gear). Funny thing is, when I hold in the wheel button, it still modifies the brake balance, just like I told it to. To its credit, the game is obviously a big step up from F12000 (which I own, but hardly ever played), and may be a better overall sim than GP3 (which I own and like, but have major reservations about as well), but given the controller issues and my reluctance to let anything get in the way of my existing relationship (with GPL, of course!), I can't see picking the game up. This is weird indeed. As I said, F1CS2000 immediately reckognized my LWFF and CH Pro pedals, and I could set it up without any problem. LWFF is USB and CH Pro pedals are connected via SBLive port. Yesterday I was at a friend of mine who also installed F1CS2000. He has allmost the same setup, LWFF, SBLive, but CH pedals instead of the CH Pro which I have, but this shouldn't cause the problems. When I wanted to configure the shift-up button on his system, he had exactly the same problems as you. After trying for a couple of times I finally succeeded, but it seems that if you haven't got your pedals perfectly calibrated, F1CS2000 thinks you are pressing the pedals as soon as you try to configure a button. Have you tried recalibrating your pedals in Windows? Andre

You have to assign each axis. Make sure you go to the controllers page, at the upper left is a keyboard icon. Change that using the arrows on either side to a joystick. then on the right side of the page you will see the various commands...turn right, accel, brake etc. You have to DOUBLE clik on each name, then supply a keyboard input THEN move your controller. Once done yer off to the races. dave henrie "David Ciemny" <[email hidden]> wrote in message news:hg2Y5.6726$[email hidden]... > Hi..I can't seem to get the game to recognize my Logitech wheel? Yep, read a few threads here and tried that first. Everything looks normal, except the usual "jitter" around the center spot. Recalibrated with no effect. And that's exactly how the game is acting, like it's getting input from the controller immediately when it goes to the selection screen, and doesn't wait to get "real" input via a button. Didn't ThrustMaster used to have a utility for tuning out jitter from gameports? Rick
Sounds good Dave, I'll give it a try. thanks... DC Dave Henrie <[email hidden]> wrote in message news:l17Y5.124933$[email hidden]... > You have to assign each axis.
