If these guys are responsible for NASCAR 2001 for PS2 then even remaining in Baltimore is too good for them. They should be shot.

EA decided to get them to do a Nascar sim because flight-sims are not selling too well thses days.

Longbow 1 & 2, F15, Janes F/A 18 to name a few... They were JUST beginning to develop what would have been the PC version of Nascar 2002. There were no plans for a complete rewrite of N2000 into N2001. That work has been sent west to the Programming team that does Madden Football. dave henrie "Euan Gilmour" <[email hidden]> wrote in message news:dnRX5.767541$[email hidden]... > > EA Baltimore Shuts Down > > If these guys are responsible for NASCAR 2001 for PS2 then even remainingin > Baltimore is too good for them. They should be shot. As a former member of the Baltimore team, I can tell you that we had no part in any previous EA NASCAR product. Our previous titles included Jane's F-15 and Jane's F/A-18, both highly realistic flight simulations. Our NASCAR product was all new from the ground up. -CJ
