Welcome! It is "the one and only" real sim! You are going to get
lots of advice! There are more than 50 tracks nowadays, and
a utility to reverse all of them. Many original and add-on
tracks have new ads, sky, AI, ..., new whatsoever...
And they race on-line all the time! I just wait that I can join...

I wonder how long we're going to be saying this? I play with F12000 but I
take GPL very seriously.
Maybe WSC will take over, but then again, maybe not. Will GPL always be our
"first love"?

The best add-on would probably be the "more spare time"-patch, but it's
quite hard to find. If you find it, pleas let me know where it is.
If you cannot find the "more spare time"-patch, the "pull out the phone
plug"-patch may help, but it is not sufficient. I've used it myself with
success on several occations.
Of course, the "how to make a living by driving GPL"-patch is the ultimate
patch. Once again, this is a patch that is very rare. In fact, some people
will deny it's existence. But they don't fool me. I keep on searching. I bet
those people still believe that the earth is round.
Sadly, some people get the gf-patch, almost by accident, which - measured in
progress in lap times, - is a nasty accident. The force feedback provided by
the gf may hurt badly. Not recommended for GPL-lovers.
