Word is that it is full of bugs, and that they shipped it against the beta teams wishes. All in the good spirit of the Christmas holiday sales.... Tom "Luke Phillips" <[email hidden]> wrote in message news:3a2cf53d$0$19432$[email hidden]...

lol; you have to fight that hp all the way down the straight. That quarter mile might as well be all esses at a track like sears cause it is definitely not something you can hold the wheel straight on, at least not for me. Plus, reaction time is everything. I will try it ... Phillip "Andre Warringa" <[email hidden]> wrote in message news:[email hidden]...

Not to mention that it will probably be nothing more than a rehash of Burnout/NIRA. ~daxe

But I couldn't understand the fun of driving ovals, untill people here started to explain the fun of Nascar racing. I still prefer F1 to Nascar, but at least I now can understand the fun of Nascar, and I even had lots of fun with Heat. But I simply cannot see the fun of simulated Drag racing. In real life I can imagine it's cool to watch (and especially hear) those beasts, but on a computer? Makes as much sense as fishing simulators to me.. Andre

How do you feel about Soccer? Everyone on the planet practically, except people in the US (ME!) thinks Soccer is the greatest sport in the world. I'd rather have my teeth cleaned than watch soccer........... It's a culture thing....... Drag Racing is a very AMERICAN sport just like Nascar. I work with a lot of europeans who can't fathom why a car needs a motor bigger than 2.0 liters, and drag racing TOTALY confounds them. BUT here in the US we LUV IT!! As far a playing a computer game of drag racing is concerned, TWEAKING and TINKERING is where it's at! It takes a lot of thought and concentration to squeeze evey last bit of performance out a these things. So try it .......Ya might like it...... R.D.S.
Its big in Australia too MATE! :) ..... Just not as big as the US Luke -=87=- R.D.S. <[email hidden]> wrote in message news:[email hidden]...
