I have a SB Live card, and while racing the engine sound stutters real
bad, I hear a 'click' between the looping of the engine sound.
It's really annoying. Weird thing is, during a replay I don't have the
stutter.. Any ideas?

I have the same card and i experienced this problem while using a german
1.0.0 version of MBTR. I've just bought an english/french 1.1.6 version and
everything seems ok.
I think you'll have to wait for a patch.
