What's your point? I'm both a circle track and road racer guy.

folks who use time have some sort of road racing background/experience/sim
preference.
Those who use mph are guys who got started simming with a Nascar product.

I covered my butt...hehehe But what leagues do you run in? do they
all talk mph in Nascar??
dave henrie
If they do, it's just the general fans/TV-stations/simmers... According to
"Nascar for Dummies" (I am not too proud), ghostwritten by Mark Martin, real
Nascar drivers/teams (and knowledgable fans) compare laps according to ET
(Elapsed Time).
Jan./ too many brackets, I know.

This is true. It's funny though how in qualifying they'd report the lap in
seconds, but during the race they report it in mph to the fans watching.

I used to run in the GTIC for Sports Car GT. I'm currently running in the
SDORL for NASCAR 3 and some drivers use speed, others use time.
