Hi gplrank users, I just updated the DNS entry for newgplrank.schuerkamp.de. You should be able to reach gplrank again at URL http://newgplrank.schuerkamp.de/ once the DNS catches up (usually within 24 hours). Enjoy & sorry for any inconvinience, Uwe -- Uwe Schuerkamp http://www.schuerkamp.de/ GnuPG Fingerprint: 2093 20B8 B861 9358 A356 B01A E145 9249 5D27 33EA PGP Fingerprint: 2E 13 20 22 9A 3F 63 7F 67 6F E9 B1 A8 36 A4 61

Thanks, nice to have access to the GPL Rank site again. Good idea with the handicap history. But it doesn't work for me. -- Olav K. Malmin remove .spam when replying

Uwe, I still think Ringlord has problems. I get this with visualroute : ================================================= === VisualRoute report on 20-Nov-00 11:48:14 === ================================================= Report for www.ringlord.com [216.200.107.162] Analysis: IP packets are being lost past network "Abovenet Communications, Inc." at hop 8. There is insufficient cached information to determine the next network at hop 9. Connections to HTTP port 80 are being rejected. Node 209.249.0.26 at hop 8 in network "Abovenet Communications, Inc." reports "The destination host is unreachable". ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- VisualRoute Report for www.ringlord.com produced at 11:48 on 20 November, 2000. www.ringlord.com is not accepting ICMP packets. Roundtrip time to 209.249.0.26 average = 89ms min = 89ms max = 97ms I get the same with other addresses and direct IP Anyone out there managing to connect at the moment ?? Hi Maxx, the new IP for ringlord is 64.124.103.162 if you use the gplrank.schuerkamp.de hostname OR newgplrank.schuerkamp.de it will always resolve to the correct address because this domain and its authoritative DNS are under *my* control, not blackboards or digex fucked DNS setup. People using the hosts file dns hack will have to change the ip to the one given above. Thanks for pointing this out, uwe -- Uwe Schuerkamp http://www.schuerkamp.de/ GnuPG Fingerprint: 2093 20B8 B861 9358 A356 B01A E145 9249 5D27 33EA PGP Fingerprint: 2E 13 20 22 9A 3F 63 7F 67 6F E9 B1 A8 36 A4 61

No Probs, glad to have you back. I made the "hosts" fix so took me longer to figure what was happening. Maxx
