Hi, all...it's me the "new convert", LOL!
It's been two amazing days of GPL, here... I'm realizing that this game is
almost a way of life, rather than just a game. I had to reset my jaw back in
place after I did my first lap at Nurburgring in the Ferrari....
Anyways, gushing about GPL to this NG is sermoning to the "converted", so I'll
happily digress, LOL...
I'm playing GPL on a TNT2 Ultra, and of course, I'm using the D3D driver for
this. In the readme.txt file, it is listed as beta. And I also noticed the
OpenGL driver on Sierra's site, also beta (which I haven't tried yet).
Does anyone know if work is continuing on these drivers, as there is no e-mail
address to send bug reports, etc.?
Thanks!

Nope. There is no indication that Papyrus is working on GPL, officially or
not.

how hard it is to put up with all the idiots in the world.
The D3D patch was done by a Papy employee in his own spare time, so they
don't support it officially. I doubt either the D3D or OpenGL rasterizers
will get any further updates from now on, but you never know.
It'd be nice to see what GPL looks like with the N4 engine, with unlocked
frame-rates, 3d sound, 32-bit colour, and a really optimized D3D rasterizer,
but that's extremely unlikely :)

Yeah, but it is still THE driving sim of all time (well, so far ... ;)
