When I go back to the desktop after playing NASCAR 3 my icons are
messed up. Even on the start/programs they are blacked out. I have
tried VooDoo3 3000 drivers 1.04.00, 1.05.00 and 1.06.00. I had 1.04.00
and thought that might have been the problem, but the problem still
exist even with 1.06.00. I am running NASCAR 3 patch 1204 also. The
only way to correct the icons is restarting in safe mode, then go to
the Windows directory and delete shelliconcache. Then restart and the
icons are fine but when I play NASCAR 3 again, you guessed it. SCREWED
UP!!! I'm taking this as NASCAR 3 just isn't campatible with Windows
ME. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks, Kent :)

Please disregard my post, as I fixed the problem. Went to Thrustmaster
and downloaded the new driver (relased today) for my new T-Master
NASCAR Pro Digital 2 Wheel. That fixed the problem with the icons. I
would have never thought that would have been the problem. Found out I
was trying to run the wheel in Windows ME before the ME drivers had
been released. Totally my fault!!! DOH.

TweakUI has a Repair tab that will fix your icons right away. I have no
idea what's causing your problem, however, as I'm using N3 with Windows Me
and no problems.

have happened during the download and install. downloaded 1.05.02 and
all is fine. going to format this weekend and do a fresh install of
