Yes indeed - you need the 1.2 patch from www.papy.com - though the Microsoft wheel does seem to cause some frame rate drop. It does support feedback after applying the 1.2 patch, and it does so really well. My recommendation would be the Logitech Wingman Formula Force Wheel (LWFF). I think Logtech has replaced it with a new model now. Most people here seem to prefer the LWFF, although many seem to use the Microsoft Force Feedbak wheel. L.S. My MSFF has stood up to 2 years of abuse and is still fine, if you have an older PC get the Logi as the msff soaks up cpu power. Joe David Buttery <[email hidden]> wrote in message news:[email hidden]...

Does GPL support Force Feed Back? Not only does it, but it's about the best in the business. Not bad for a patch :) I just recently retired a MSFFW (it's ok, but Microsoft doesn't seem interested in supporting it's users under Windows 2000) and bought one of the Logitech Force GP's. For $100, it's a nice wheel. While not perfect, the pedals are a far cry better than the originals. It's small, light, and attatches quickly. It also stays put, something my MSFFW would never do. One gripe - The bloody pedal unit cable is about 3 feet too short! -Larry "Derek" <[email hidden]> wrote in message news:[email hidden]...

Someone posted that DX8 fixes the cpu usage problem with the MSFF USB wheel. Looking for confirmation of this before I buy one though.
