Proof? -- UK Radical Campaigns www.zing.icom43.net Don't vote, it only encourages them. If voting changed anything they'd make it illegal.

I'm not religious, but if there is a God, and he made me, then he made me not to believe in him, and therefore he's not going to send me to hell for not believing in him if he told me not to do it.

salv Mr Grossi, Firstly this isnt a christian site its a modelling site for those who have an interest in trains. Secondly , you claim to be an evangelist, after reading the blether you've written, one can only assume that a) you are 11 years old or b) You havent actually read the Bible. As a Theologian it is my delight and privilege to read that book and I would point out that one gets "saved" in order to worship (Honour) God not as an excuse to go to heaven, which is a byproduct of the being in a fit state to worship HIm. Finally I would without any respect whatsoever say that every posting of this sort puts more people off Christianity than any amount of wierdo preachers, You will be held responsible for these souls, , have you considered just how hot your bit of heaven is going to be? Beowulf, I'm not studied enough on the Bible to quote it in every instance but I'm quite sure I read somewhere in the New Testament some specific warnings about guys like Mr. Grossi. Buy the way a guy on TV the other said that for ever dollar I send to the church God will pay me back ten dollars. Maybe the SEC should be checking out the Evangelists. It's odd that we all scream bloody murder about the corporate and investment types for fraud but allow numerous members a religious organizations to blatantly lie and deceive people on a massive scale without a peep. I don't pay much attention to this stuff but do watch the history channel often. The term Hell was invented sometime I believe in the 1200 to 1400. The early (Christianity) religion never used the word or anything like it. I find it interesting that these persons who try to convert others have absolutely no idea of the religion they profess to belong to.

Why is it people who want to tell you about their religion, don't want to know about yours. ( Jasper Carrot. I think.) -- Clive.

Have you noticed that the worst of the televangelists sit on stage in golden thrones, wearing $1000.00 suits, asking me (us) for more money? A fool and his money are soon parted. -- Brian Ehni

BruceDear Bruce, It is my experience that people who ask for money from any other than their own parishoners are frauds, a Pastor/priest minister etc, should never earn more than the average of his parishoners or in the case of a person working in a very impoverished area they should get enough so that their own family does not suffer due to their work, ie it should (funds) come from other churches that support the work in question. The question of money and religion is always going to be heavily debated, and quite rightly so, it is only a healthy debate that will keep corruption at bay. There is nowhere in the Bible that allows for a theology that says give 1 get 10, its usually the other way around :) The OT is quite explicit , about money etc, so is the NT, the OT says that there shall be no poor in the land ( and explains how they are to be cared for) and that every 50 years ALL debts are to be wiped out (Jubilee year) Tony Blair has actually along with other leaders tried to get this acted by the wealthy western nations in order to get rid of one of the root reasons for terrorism, but certain western leaders (One especially!) have sabotaged this. As a matter of principle I always refuse to give money to any pastor, I give any money or donations instead to the denomination that way individuals do not reap the benefits of monies not earned by them. Mr Grossi does not represennt Christianity as traditionally understood or taught since the time of Jesus. Beowulf

Once upon a time, 30 years ago, I worked at a radio station. One of my weekend shifts was from midnight Saturday to 8:00 AM Sunday, playing recorded programs of various gospel music and oddball preacher programs. This guy in the thread above reminds me of one "Reverend Ike" who spent 80 percent of his time selling "prayer clothes" and "blessing plans" to his faithful listeners (both of them, I think.) He promised that you would be showered with worldly riches if you would just send him $10 for a blessing plan. I suppose he actually made a living this way. -- =========================================================== Norman Morgan <> http://www.norm-morgan.com =========================================================== Sometimes I wake up grumpy. That's a good return rate, are they fully licensed for financial services and can they provide long term records to back that claim up? Most of these too good to be true investments turn out to be scams where they take your money and disappear into the either. Can you be sure this God exists? Is it floated on the stock market?
