LWFF settings for GP3

Now that I have spent an hour or two with the patched GP3 I can honestly say it is a big improvement on the original unpatched version which I abandoned shortly after buying it. After downloading a whole stack of setups, sounds and a complete 2000 makeover I now want to find the best settings for my controllers. I am using my old LWFF which I dusted off just for GP3 along with my CH Pedals. Much as I love my Force RS it just doesn't feel like a modern F1 wheel. Anyway I was wondering if any of you hardened GP3 veterans had some recommendations for the FF settings for the LWFF? Also do you have any recommendations on what values to set the steering lock, low sensitivity zone and reduce with car speed to? Finally, are there any suggestions on how to start in the wet? I seem to end up turning hard right most of the time. Cheers Phil -- F1 GPL Handicap: +21.04 secs F2 GPL Handicap: +130.91 secs Currently running in the F2 Festival League at http://www.geocities.com/f2_festival
Try this: steering lock 17 low sensitivity zone 40 reduce with car speed 35 Some people don't like "reduce with car speed", but I think it's a must for Monaco. Also, though it may sound strange, a low sensitivity zone for the pedals works well too. I use 75%. Might help your starts in the wet. -A "Phil Lee" <[email hidden]> wrote in message news:uk3L5.28311$h%[email hidden]... > Now that I have spent an hour or two with the patched GP3 I can honestlysay > it is a big improvement on the original unpatched version which Iabandoned

You'll get a lot of different replies to this but I have spent many hours finding a LWFF setup that I felt was realistic. I use everything set to 0 except steering lock which I have set to maximum, steering low sensitivity zone which I have set to 80% and force feedback set to 55%. Some people recommend changing the braking low sensitivity zone, but 0 seems fine to me. You'll find this setup to be quite sensitive, but it does allow for very precise and realistic control. Give it a go! I haven't applied the patch yet (just downloaded it) so I'm not sure if these settings will be affected. Wombat
