I hope they include it but make it optional. I LIKE having the steering wheel there and I hope they put arms on it as well. -Chris-

Will be kind of neat having an animated pit crew! J. Janasov Shane Lowry <[email hidden]> wrote in message news:8sigme$e65$[email hidden]...

Hopefully we will have the same option as in GPL so we can decide if we want the wheel or not. Looks damn awesome to me. There's something about the pictures... you can really tell it's sunny. Also, I like the fact that the cars are not all glossy. Finally, has anyone noticed the other type of miror (fish eye) from the bumper cam? Hope we get to use that from inside the car too. "David L. Cook" wrote: > > http://www.zdnet.com/gamespot/stories/news/0,10870,2640962,00.html > > --David Cook -- Philippe "Philster" Sergerie

It's already been confirmed. You'll be able to turn it off (the wheel) if that's what you want to do. Also - Don't worry about the huge stick shift either. Eric Busch from Papy said that was a build with the shifter not yet finished. He said the working animated shifter is now (current build) in the proper location and scale. --David Cook In article <[email hidden]>, [email hidden] wrote...

James, You can "lose" the steering wheel in Nascar Heat through the options.cfg file. Read the patch.txt and advanced.txt files... I believe it was new in the beta patch. Dave James Pickard wrote:

I can't tell if they use different 3do shapes for each car. There is one shot with Mark Martin in front of the #1 of Steve Park. The view is from the side and the Chevy's side glass between the B & C pillars 'looks' slightly longer than the Ford. It appears they are different, but I canna say.. Anyone have info on this? dave henrie

I dont even see my own arms and wheel when Im racing gpl, those arms I see on the screen are my arms and thats what makes me feel that im sitting in the car not on my chair in front of my computer.
