You could try creating a new player and seeing if the still show up. SCGT is
funny that way. Example would be if you change a cars .veh file the change
wont be reflected in the car you own till you sell and buy the car again. I
havent tried to get rid of the cars that came with the game but I've been
reworking .veh files for several months now so I know the game can be funny
that way. Also you could try "reclassing" the cars to a class that just flat
out doesnt exist. To accomplish this just open the .veh file in notepad,
change the class description line (from GT1 to XYZ for example) and it should
keep the car from appearing in the buy car screen (though not from showing up
in a mixed class race). Hope this helps.

I've been attempting to rid myself of the cars that came with SCGT to no
avail. I downloaded the .mas file that would get rid of these cars, and
it worked, but the cars are still listed under the "Buy Vehicle" tab. I
tried deleting their .veh files from vehicles.mas, but it didn't work.
Anyone know how to accomplish this?

you can change just about everything in the text file...Including a slider
that determines how likely a car will be to join a race. Set all the
original cars to zero and you new cars well up the slider, you'll probably
see very little of the old cars, even in a mixed class race.

I'm actually trying to get rid of them all together, which I've now
accomplished. But I still would like the program, where do I get it?
