Speaking as a two time loser in the marriage department, I think I'll stick
with GPL<g>.
My Lotus:
Never has a headache,
Never asks me if she looks fat,
Doesn't care what I'm "thinking about?",
Never wants to go shopping,
Never tries to get her way by crying,
Doesn't need 24 pairs of shoes,
Can't fake it,
Never brings up past driving errors
and
She doesn't mind when I look at other cars.

Jokes comparing GPL with sex and partners
Following a remark that GPL was 'better than sex', users posted humorous comparisons between the sim, its cars and spouses. Stirling Moss's comparison of Cooper and Lotus cars to types of women was recalled.

Not my statement but in case you missed it, it was posted earlier by
Moon-Watcher in response to "Advise Needed" thread.
I quote
"Grand Prix Legends (not a modern F1 simulator - it's actually based
on the cars, tracks and teams from 1967, and is so indisputably
perfect, that most of us will still be playing it when we're
grandparents). The absolute e-ching of all racing simulators.
You're in for no easy ride with it, however, as it demands decades
of practice before you'll be truly confident in it, but the feeling of
joy you will receive is better than sex...)"

I can only agree actually... or does this mean that I should get
another girlfriend?

By the time I'd get up to the bedroom she'd be asleep.

I stand by my statement that GPL is better than sex, because it is.
Winning my first race against the AI was almost orgasmic.
GPL also looks and feels better than any woman. :-)
GPL is perfect, in all aspects. Women are not.
I remember reading sometime ago about Sterling Moss making comparisons
between the Cooper and Lotus (from the early 60's)in regards to
different kinds of women that went something like this:
"The Cooper is a fun party girl type, easy on the eyes and is always up
for a good time....the Lotus is more the elegant beauty that demands
respect....definately not a first date type of girl..."
I'm paraphrasing but it was similar to that...

Yet,
There will always be people who can treat her better (and she knows it).
After you've (again) been messing with that Italian redhead, she will
immediately sense it and punish you for it.
Although she does it better, the Italian girl is a screamer!
She'll compliment your perfect ways, but make the smallest mistake and
you're history.
Be any less gentle with her than asking her politely, and she will break
down under pressure.
She's very pretty, but whenever you go out it seems as if everyobody
else's girl is the same as yours.
You always think you could actually use more rubber with her.
