LWFF - HELP!!

4 posts by 4 people · 01 Oct 2000 - 02 Oct 2000 04:57 UTC

Hi, I'm in a bit of a predicatment. I have the Logitech Wingman Formula Force. For most part, I have the steering wheel disconnected and put on top of a cupboard. When I want to play a game, I reconnect it to the cable. The pedals stay connected all the time. Well anyway, one of the cats climbed up there and tipped the steering wheel off the cupboard and I came home to find it on the floor. Something's gone wrong with it. I can feel some vibrations not no real forces (as in when it pulls to either side and stuff like that). I have a feeling something inside the casing has come loose but that I may be able to locate it and affix it or whatever. My problem is, I can't seem to get the casing off. I unscrewed all the screws but no dice. I know some of you folks here modify your wheels and things. Can someone point me to a guide OR maybe give me some instruction on how to get it open and perhaps some diagnoses and fixes?? Thanks in advance, Manoj Please contact me by email. Please remove all instances of 'nospam' from my email address: [email hidden] Thanks again for your time.

Start at the other end. The little cap in the center of the steering wheel needs to come off before the case will come off. BTW the cap just snaps into play with 3 prongs (12, 4, and 8 o'clock positions) "Manoj K Bhupatrai" <[email hidden]> wrote in message news:[email hidden]... > Hi, > > I'm in a bit of a predicatment.
